SHRINKING S3E9 DADDY ISSUES ๐Ÿคฉ

SHRINKING knows how to call the shots. The writers packed DADDY ISSUES with so many affirmations and zingers this week that most fans will get their therapy fix before the episode is halfway done. I know this to be true after I threw my mic down, screaming, โ€œI am selfishโ€ into the universe. Itโ€™s a SHRINKING thing.ย

I donโ€™t know how much sadder I can feel while observing Paul (Harrison Ford). He really knows how to play that Parkinson card. The writers have given him a plethora of heartbreaking scenes that lead me to tears. Ford is a consummate actor, using every tool in his vast repertoire. It is like receiving private acting lessons from a master.ย

The family dynamics splintered across generations. The entire ensemble continually worked together, taking two steps forward and one step back. But then some might say, โ€œIt is not going backwards to do something you excel at.โ€ Great advice that everyone should take to heart. Gabby, Jimmy, Paul, and even wannabe Liz are very wise indeed.ย

SHRINKING is entertaining, funny, poignant, and cathartic. It always leaves me wanting more. Thatโ€™s always a good sign of a well-crafted, creative television show streaming now on Apple TV.
