REBEL S1 E2 PATIENT X 🤮

REBEL contains a strong group of ensemble actors, but the writing does not do them justice. It is a chaotic, fast-talking, non-realistic show. I am gasping for air as I watch some of the interactions.

I realize Katey Sagal is portraying the real life persona of Erin Brockovich, but I am just not buying it. She is too old and it’s missing the heart and soul of Erin. It needs some moments of silence to allow the audience to catch up. We need to see the empathy behind REBEL who is always storming the castle and saving the day. I need to care more about her two daughters, her son and her third husband asking for a divorce. But I just don’t. I did feel empathy for her boss (Andy Garcia) and the loss of his wife, but it is not enough to sustain the show.

I am letting go of this series. I can’t watch and enjoy REBEL. Good luck with your cause.

REBEL is available to stream or not on ABC Television.
