TWO DISTANT STRANGERS 🤩

TWO DISTANT STRANGERS took me on an intense 32 minute ride that is embedded forever in my brain and my heart.

This movie has been nominated for an Oscar this year in the live action short film category. TWO DISTANT STRANGERS has the power and the potential to win.

The film is all about racial inequality and it provides a frightening, realistic GROUNDHOG DAY moment for a young, successful black man and a white cop. What would it feel like to relive your worst and final day of your life over and over with no possibility for escape?

I can’t say any more without spoiling the agony and helplessness I felt as I watched from the safety of my living room. TWO DISTANT STRANGERS made its point loud and clear. I will be cheering for this film to win a coveted Oscar, but I fear it won’t change a thing in our society in the near future.

TWO DISTANT STRANGERS is a “must see” on Netflix.
