“Real life doesn’t resolve like mysteries do.”

Ain’t that the truth!

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING consistently pulls the rug out from under my feet, yet again. This week, three lucky fans led the narration and were invited to join the podcast trio to help solve Tim Kono’s murder/suicide.

It was like a party in Charles’ (Steve Martin) apartment with Oliver (Martin Short), Mabel (Selena Gomez), Jan (Amy Ryan), Oscar (Aaron Dominguez), and the Arconiacs (3 fans). All of them try to solve “the who, the why, the how, and the why now” within 24 hours, or someone else might die. It was imperative not to find “the what” at this time, so said the elusive Police Detective Williams.

The final podcast had to wrap up to its conclusion, but was it really the correct finale to this crazy, never-ending journey? I think not as evident in another bloody cliffhanger. I truly don’t want this series to be done. It is so much fun trying to figure out this murder puzzle.

As always, the pacing was “spot-on,” and the sarcasm hit its mark. Some might say this episode was not quite as perfect as past performances. For me, it was a necessary evening of theorizing to find the killer. I am definitely an Arconiac, except for the fact, I would never want to live in that apartment building, but I will be waiting for next week’s revelations along with the rest of the fan base.

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING is available to stream on HULU.
