I am very sad to see the end of the Daniel Craig saga of being James Bond, but I feel delighted with this being his final movie. Last time I loved a Bond movie this much was CASINO ROYALE!
You are pretty much dropped into the series as you had just continued from watching SPECTRE, and now you are suddenly brought into James having a nice stable normal-lish life? As much as a secret agent could have… you know the seaside life, the pretty girl, everything just going perfect… which when you look at 007 is a very odd thing indeed. That would also make for a very boring movie if you think about it since you love James Bond for his sexy smooth antics and tech he ends up using going against the bad guys.
The good news is you get to leave the retirement life and get the Bond you are craving!
The only thing I did not enjoy was the opening song. I get Billie Eilish is a popular singer nowadays, and MCM wants a new audience to get into James Bond. Still, it made the secret agent seem like having a weakness in that he is love-torn, not to mention half the time I wanted her to take a throat lozenge while singing it. The opening animation, though, was spectacular and very Bond-esque!
I think James Bond should always be a British man. He is, after all, a mash-up of ten different male personalities that the author combined. I know they were trying to toss around the idea, well, 007 could be a woman too, but then she wouldn’t be James Bond, and it should be her unique spy series.
You can catch James Bond: NO TIME TO DIE at the cinema now!
