MOONSHOT ๐Ÿคฎย

I am a huge fan of the rom-com movie genre. I have long lists of my favorites. MOONSHOT will never be on that list. It is insipid, silly, not believable, and the leading characters have no love connection chemistry.ย

The story takes place in the future, where traveling to Mars is quite common. Walt (Cole Sprouse) is an average guy who dreams of going to Mars. Sophie (Lana Condor) is your genius, wealthy introvert. Cue the spaceship. The plot is simplistic and with not many surprising moments of real, raw emotions other than some teen angst.

I really would like my one hour and 43 minutes back. There were several fun activities I could have been doing. MOONSHOT says, โ€œExploration is the perfect fit to see where we belong.โ€ I can confidently say that this film is not where โ€œitโ€™s happening.โ€

MOONSHOT is available to screen on HBO MAX.
