SHRINKING S3E10 THE BODYGUARD OF SADNESS 🤩

SHRINKING scores another home run while surrounding fans with sadness and goodbyes. “What can we do? It is what it is.” I am so not ready to end this season. Be prepared. Next week is the finale. I will have to stock up on more Kleenex.

SHRINKING does not evoke Jerry Springer vibes. It is far more subtle and uses intelligent, smart humor to make major points. Jason Segel as Jimmy was outstanding. His explosion gave new meaning to the importance of people in relationships and friendships. My heart broke while watching. Obviously, I am not a “hug bitch.” The writing was exquisite and so intentional. The actors understood the stakes necessary to raise the bar once again while peeling layer upon layer of gut-wrenching tension. There were moments of showing and saying so much more with less. Simply brilliant and creative.

SHRINKING is one of today’s finest TV shows. This is not because I am a card-carrying member of “Team Paul.” The truth is, the entire ensemble deserves every accolade and buckets of heart emojis. Don’t miss out on free therapy sessions while watching television at its best.

SHRINKING is streaming on Apple TV.
