There’s “Something in the way” of YELLOWJACKETS from moving forward to reveal anything substantial. Instead, each episode continues to present audiences with soap opera filler while dangling a compelling cliffhanger at the end.

I want to get one thing straight. I love musical theatre, Patti Lupone, TWIN PEAKS, and Jon Cameron Mitchell. Yet, the trippy sequence with Misty and Mitchell is the worst tonal shift ever for YELLOWJACKETS. The show has jumped the shark for me, and I’ll be passing the reviews for S2 onto Jami to finish it off.

Do yourself a favor if you want to relive the 90s. Skip this show on Showtime, and listen to the soundtrack instead.
