QUEER EYE MORE THAN A MAKEOVER SEASON REVIEW 😊

QUEER EYE MORE THAN A MAKEOVER premiered season seven with seven new episodes. The Fab Five traveled to New Orleans to give their effervescent, honest advice to those who needed tough love, acceptance, and hugs to move on with their lives.

The people selected for makeovers needed the energizing and loving touch from Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown, Tan Francia, and Bobby Burk. These five can work their magic in just a few days. They can get to the heart of the obstacles holding people back. They do this with new looks, new or redecorated homes, bringing the past to meet the present, and buckets of tears. Emotions run high throughout this entire season. The viewers will often need a tissue box beside the screen.

The episodes are fun, silly, and always authentic. This show touches a nerve for most. The chatter is instantaneous and fast-paced. There is no holding back, which continues to make it so popular. There are lessons learned and oodles of feel-good moments for everyone. I am in awe of the Five’s total acceptance of those around them… security and peace always follow. This is a feel-good show. Our society should be this open to the differences in all of us.

QUEER EYE MORE THAN A MAKEOVER is available to stream on NETFLIX.
