THE WATER MAN  is for those who want to believe that life’s situations can be better with hope and a little magic. It involves an epic quest to save a young boy’s Mom from dying. Â
Four performers lead this group of flawed characters who have to come to terms with the reality of their lives. Rosario Dawson, David Oyelowo, Lonnie Chavis, and Amiah Miller show us the many layers of what a family actually means and how it can function under the worst of times. David also served as director along with Oprah Winfrey’s, Harpo Productions, as producer.
THE WATER MAN has some scary moments in the forest and deals with grief, death, and child abuse. It would not be appropriate for young children, even though it is filled with loving, breakthrough scenes.
