A group of orphans embarks with a mysterious, introverted millionaire to stop a sinister plot is not just the story of LEMONY SNICKET. It’s also the plot of the latest TV series adapted from a book on Disney+.

I’m catching up on THE MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY, hence the three-episode review instead of them being singular. Yet, all three deserve the 🤩. Audiences will instantly fall in love with the rag-tag group of orphans that attempt to stop the “Emergency.”

The message is simple for kids – “you are needed.” These orphans are outcasts, yet together they might save the world, and one “crazy” person sees that in them. Also, for a kid’s show, it has intelligent messages like, “proof is useless unless it’s proof of something people already want to believe in.”

Episodes 1-3 are available now to stream with the entire family on Disney+.
