THE GOOD FIGHT S5 SERIES REVIEW 🤩

The opening credits of THE GOOD FIGHT literally blows up everything in its path. Simple, calm, everyday props explode before our eyes. Even the beautiful pots and vases of flowers are ripped to shreds. Nothing is safe or stable. This is the key to this smart, well-produced series.

The cast of THE GOOD FIGHT includes several masters of acting. Christine Baranski, Audra McDonald, Michael Boatman, Gary Cole, Sarah Steele, Mandy Patinkin, and Wanda Sykes are just a few. The writers created crazy, believable situations for the viewers to take a second look at how our world is evolving. They blend real news stories with fiction leading us on a “topsy-turvey” roller coaster ride. There are even mini, animated shorts complete with upbeat original tunes in the middle of a scene. This is a creative, unique way to clarify terminology or context.

The plotlines are always taken to the extreme in a slow build-up. Race relations, violent mobs, the NRA, FBI, and our messed-up judicial system were on the table. By the finale, everything you thought you knew to be true was challenged, tested, and blown away.

THE GOOD FIGHT makes you think about the world we inhabit and how far off-course we are leaning. It uses humor, sarcasm, intense drama, and everyday situations to pull us closer to the light. It is good for us…it is a good fight.

The GOOD FIGHT can be streamed on Paramount Plus.
