ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING S2E6 PERFORMANCE REVIEW ๐Ÿ˜Š

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING propped the door wide open to several sub-plots but failed to move the main murder storyline any further along. The episode was packed with major actors and as humorous and entertaining as ever.

Poppy (Adina Verson), was the prominent viewpoint. She plays assistant/wannabe producer to Cinda (Tina Fey). Their work relationship sucks. (โ€œNever be too good at a job you donโ€™t want.โ€) Cinda Is the perfect bitch boss, who only cares about sensationalizing stories, not getting at the truth. (but โ€œtruths always have a way of comingโ€ฆโ€

I love how crazed Oliver (Martin Short), is about dips. Patience is not his forte. Charles (Steve Martin), needs to learn the words to the song, BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO. Cue Jane Lynch. โ€œWho knew the anatomy of a bassoon could be so sexy and hot?โ€

In the end Mabel (Selena Gomez), is having a horribly, bad day. โ€œPerfect eggs should never run. They should walk.โ€ Her world is blowing up exactly like a glitter bomb. And there is no way to get rid of excess glitter, especially in New York City.

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING is such a savvy sitcom. The timing, the pacing, the blatant jokes with double meanings, (happens every third or fourth episode), the awkward hugs, all while WAITING FOR LEFTY, leaves me in total awe and in no need of a PERFORMANCE REVIEW.

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING is available to stream on HULU. There are only four more episodes.
