GOOD FORTUNE surprised me. The film reminded me of the value of each life. It made me realize once again how important and powerful our life journeys are. Shortcuts aren’t always helpful when it comes to empathy while experiencing these life lessons. The story content was gentle and encouraging while being true to how all of us, even angels, can sometimes lose our way.

GOOD FORTUNE featured a stellar ensemble of talent, which included Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Keke Palmer, Keanu Reeves, and Sandra Oh. Ansari wrote and directed the movie, which was sprinkled with both positive affirmations and sarcastic humor. The content was relatable even if at times a tad predictable. I found myself caught up and thoroughly entertained. The pacing was spot-on. It wasn’t necessary to maintain a frantic frenzy. GOOD FORTUNE relied on the relationships and dialogues that developed between each character. One click of the kaleidoscope could change everything.

GOOD FORTUNE was a heartwarming film that ebbed and flowed with every character choice taken for granted. It was a sweet escape that still brings a contented smile to my face.
