ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING was told from Bunny’s (Jane Houdyshell) point of view. Perhaps there was more to her than Oliver (Martin Short) originally believed. Is Bunny really a bitch or just misunderstood?

OMITB begs the questions “who is cooler than Charles” (Steve Martin)? Why did models and artists used to live within those walls? Was everyone “sexy and naked?” Who rally was Rose? Does smelling a person determine their innocence or guilt? Only Lenora (Shirley MacLaine) would know for sure. Is Amy really doing just “a bit” for the future? There were so many wonderful, funny moments throughout this episode that made me laugh out loud. Clever, contrary, and conniving dialogue.

I loved the secrets and the “hidey holes.”  Bunny had much to keep tucked away, especially “dumpster art.” She even managed to give Oliver the finger in the end. I can’t wait to find out more about “love connections across the street.” And I have to say I want all of Mabel’s coats. (Stunning and colorful for sure.)

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING is simply entertainment at its highest level. It is totally intriguing and ends on a cliffhanger line. I will be counting down the days till it returns next week. Summer television just got better and better. It is available to stream on HULU.
