THE HAWK S1 REVIEW 🤮

THE HAWK was created for Will Ferrell fans. If he doesn’t float your boat, don’t bother wasting your time. Even so, this series is inane, insipid, and filled with stupid, non-humorous moments. I wish I could demand my wasted four hours of viewing time back.

Ferrell is joined by several big A-list comedians, but that just made it all even more disappointing. Molly Shannon, Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, and Chris Parnell didn’t have a chance to overcome the ridiculous story content, which made it look too easy to become a member of the PGA Tour. “Play it where it lies” did not add to any of the silly antics. Laughs are almost non-existent throughout this narcissistic battle between father and son. In each episode, delicious did not beat bullshit. It just got deeper and deeper to muddle through.

I was really glad when I finished the final episode of THE HAWK. Then I could say I gave it my all. In the end, this series had no redeeming qualities. The characters all deserve each other.

THE HAWK is streaming on Netflix.
