Even a weaker episode of MYTHIC QUEST is still worthy of your time. The highlight was Brad (Danny Pudi) working to fix David’s (David Hornsby) dating life. He hilariously uses the analogy that David is like a loot box, he has a tempting exterior but is garbage on the inside. Rather than stop there, he then proceeds to use a dating simulation game to help him in his quest to rebound post-divorce.
Elsewhere, Poppy goes against Ian, with both of them working on an expansion for their video game, MYTHIC QUEST. Although it was funny, it ended up repeating the same themes we saw in season one.
The show states, “in a negotiation, what you think is your greatest strength is your greatest weakness.” I am hoping this show’s greatest strength (Poppy and Ian) doesn’t get overplayed and become its greatest weakness.
