There are “Sub-Zero” reasons to see the new MORTAL KOMBAT. With a string of not-worthy for the big screen movies from Warner Media, I figured it was time to “test my might” and see MK in the theater. The results? I was the only “fatality.”
My top 5 rants on why this movie should have been left in hell with Scorpion.
There are better choreographed martial arts in all three KUNG FU PANDAs. Even the new COBRA KAI has better and more realistic fight sequences than this haphazardly edited mess.
There’s no tournament! Seriously, you had one freaking job and you couldn’t deliver on the actual MK tournament. SMH.
COVID mask failures. Why do Scorpion and Sub-Zero need to take off their masks to talk? No one is protected from them “saying it, not spraying it.”
There’s literally no fun. I would rather get “annihilated” by Sonya’s blade in the video game than subject myself to watching this again.
Cole Young. The new character created for this adaptation has no spine and is useless. I would gladly select any of the 97 other characters and quickly “finish him.”
