KENAN’S third episode has lost its way in what made the show heart-warming to watch. The ensemble pushed too hard this week and it did not come across as real or authentic. There was nothing much to laugh or smile about while viewing.

The plot line was all about Kenan learning to say “no” in life when necessary and for your own self preservation. I don’t need to learn that lesson any more since I was yelling at my screen, “Just say no!” every other minute.

I am hoping this was just an off-night for this sweet show. I adore Kenan Thompson, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt, or I will have to return the lesson I learned during this episode and say…no more.

KENAN is available to stream on NBC PEACOCK.
