THE GOOD:Â There are surprisingly three “good” things this week:
- 70s Attire –Â Ricky and Carlos are dressed in 70s wardrobes, and hilariously compare their outfits:
- “I feel like John Travolta in SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER.” – Ricky.
- “I feel like John Travolta in HAIRSPRAY.” – Carlos.
- Here I Come – Kourtney (Dara Reneé) impressively sings and co-writes “Here I Come,” which reminds me why this show still has it at times.
- Inclusion –Â Seb (Joe Serafini) is back! And he once again balances out Carlos, making them a delightfully inclusive couple.Â
THE BAD: Seventeen minutes of no songs until a cliched monologue hits with Maddox belting out CAMP ROCK 2’s “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.” Note to the creators – here’s a scene from THE PROM that includes inclusion and sings on all levels.
THE RESULTS: With “Flower Power” included, the second half of CAMP PROM makes it worth watching.
It’s available on Disney+.
