“Most of us get so stuck in our own pain, we don’t notice our children’s, but you did.”

HERSELF shares a larger story than just about women who suffer from abusive husbands.

It could have been a cliché and so over the top, but luckily for all of us, HERSELF educates the audiences on what it’s like to be a poor lower class woman and mother of two adorable children in Ireland.

Sandra’s story could be anyone’s story as she picks herself up and tries to create a better, safer environment for her children. HERSELF gives us what could happen when people around Sandra, strangers at first, work together…just because.

I smiled, laughed, cried and cheered. I felt totally uplifted and inspired. My heart is still tingling with possibilities of community and hope.

HERSELF is available on Amazon Prime Video
