CALL ME KAT S1 E5-10 😊

CALL ME KAT has surprisingly grown on me over these last six episodes. The characters seem to have found a more solid footing. They are allowing time for the lines to breathe and reach our funny bones.

The stories have varied from turning 39 years old and what to do if you still want a child, to accepting who would be interested in dating, giving up old dreams for new ones, being okay with your body shape and standing up for what you believe. These are all positive topics and help us decipher who we are at any age.

I have grown accustomed to Kat turning to talk directly to her audience and breaking the fourth wall. And I have come to enjoy the unexpected moments of pure slapstick comedy bits especially when Kat falls or manages to accidentally land in a freshly dug grave. Mayim Bialik just makes me giggle.

It has not been decided as of yet if CALL ME KAT has been renewed for next year. I can honestly say I am rooting for Kat. All of us could use more silly, nonsensical giggles throughout our days.

CALL ME KAT is available to stream on FOX Television.
