BRAZEN is a murder, mystery, romance, sex fantasy film based on Nora Robert’s book, BRAZEN VIRTUE. It has zero merit and within five minutes, I guessed the murderer. Why did I continue watching you ask…I have no answer.

Grace (Alyssa Milano) is a successful author. She is called to visit her sister Kathleen (Emilie Ullerup) and immediately finds herself trying to solve murder and mayhem all while falling for the hunky neighbor, Ed (Sam Page). Oh, puleeze…can we just tell the truth and yell out miscasting and a boring script? I am a fan of Alyssa, but this movie gave her no justice.

If the writers are going to imply some dark fantasy, then deliver the goods to your audience. And when there is romance in the air, I want a “Nora Roberts” edition. Too tame and definitely, not BRAZEN enough. It is being marketed to have a possible sequel. Say what? “Once was definitely enough.”

For those who are into movies that probably should not be created, BRAZEN is available to stream on NETFLIX.
