WILL TRENT is an enigma. He is a first-rate detective who can solve a difficult homicide case, yet he is afraid on being considered not enough next to his peers and colleagues.
The ensemble of the series is very tight and cohesive. This is pretty amazing since it is only their fourth episode. The characters have issues which makes them all very human. Whether it be drug addiction, dyslexia, diabetes, or just too many testosterones in the air, there is no way of solving everyday problems. All anyone can do is one day at a time. No more, no less. Getting hurt is all part of life, and WILL TRENT knows exactly what he must do to make it all work.
Kudos to Karin Slaughter, the original book series author and the writers for creating a cop show with heart and real problems that spill over into the homicide world. WILL TRENT is available to stream on ABC.
