With E6 URGENT CARE and E8 THE ROAST, WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS is heavily leaning into absurd comedy action. This last week’s episode was another solid edition to a season worth discussing.
Doug Jones as The Baron makes a welcome guest star return. The consequences involve my second favorite character on the show, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén), and his exchanges with The Baron flowed hilariously.
Elsewhere, I can’t believe the show referenced the classic “The Aristocrats” joke in a new way. If you know about this, you know. If not, see Bob Saget telling this comedian’s joke in offensive glory.
The stakes have officially been raised a bit in WWDITS as we round out the final few episodes of season five. The entire season has been a guest I’d gladly welcome for soda and blood into my home.
