THREE PINES is based on the beloved Louisa Penny murder mystery books featuring Inspector Gamache. This series showcases several murders in the small town of THREE PINES.

Alfred Molina portrays the popular Inspector. He knows exactly how to play this character dealing with a horrific story about the deaths and missing Indigenous people near Montreal, Canada. The writers take the viewers on several flashback moments to fill in any gaps. At times, the story is extremely sad and intense as the audience learns about the grim and grisly details. The first four episodes have been compelling. It is a slow-burn movement for the discoveries, but this series has captured my attention and heart. I cannot look away.

THREE PINES planted close together means sanctuary, but this is an oxymoron for the people who live there. It is very difficult to “Be Calm” within the village limits. The scenery is breathtaking. From the “white-outs” of winter to the rebirth of spring, it is spectacular.

THREE PINES is streaming on Amazon PRIME.
