THE GREAT BRITISH BAKING SHOW ended its tenth season, choosing the best baker for the honors. (Well, at least in my opinion.) TGBBS is always sassy, full of puns, innuendos, and fun to watch.

Paul and Prue assigned the contestants difficult challenges throughout the ten episodes. The formula never changes, which makes the series feel like a cozy comforter to wrap yourself in warmth and delightful baking recipes. It never ceases to amaze me how the bakers can pull off some of the most complicated baking feats. They are all so real, honest, and ordinary. It’s like you could walk right past a fabulous baker on the street and never realize it.

It might seem like watching three bakes per installment would be boring, but the hosts, Noel and Matt, always keep the jokes and one-liners flowing. They also keep the contestants calm when things don’t go as smoothly planned. “Breathe…you got this!” They are encouraging and continually put it all into perspective. Plus, they will do and say anything for a giggle. Brilliant.

THE GREAT BRITISH BAKING SHOW is fun for the entire family. Who knows? Maybe you have a budding baker sitting right next to you. It is available to stream on NETFLIX.
