STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS premiered its fourth season with a single episode. It was a breath of fresh air for all of us Trekkie fans. It was a cleverly written story that included danger, excitement, camaraderie, humor, and especially a huge dose of heart. Needless to say, it was wonderfully entertaining.

What made the first installment of STSNW so perfect has to be attributed to seeing the entire cast of familiar faces together again, doing what they do best… banter and battle. There were stunning moments when the “past and the future collide” in the present with fascinating results. Every line reinforced how much everything happens for a reason. It didn’t matter if this marvelous group of characters was talking about “carrots and sticks”; it all fit together beautifully in the end, even if an interstellar storm surrounds the origin of humanity. Bravo to all. It was great to be back on the Enterprise.

STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS is just getting started. I am totally hooked and anxious to see what sci-fi adventure we all encounter next.

Don’t miss this fun, well-done series, streaming on Paramount.
