I am a huge fan of THE GREAT BRITISH BAKE OFF. I have watched all 10 seasons including their holiday specials, so I was really looking forward to Season 11 when it aired. Sad to say, I was a little let down after viewing it.
The episodes just didn’t produce the usual smiles, laughter and joy for me. Perhaps it was the contestants, who were good, but not great. Perhaps it was the pandemic that altered the way the show is usually produced. Covid has definitely changed all our lives…even a beloved baking show.
I am not giving up on the GBBS. Too many fond memories. Here’s to next season in the tent! Cheers!
PS: Do watch the GBBS Holiday special for season 11. Only 2 episodes. What a delight!
