Yeah. This one got me cheering! Episode 3 of THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER represents everything you wanted this series to embody about a Marvel Studios production. It pulls out all the stops to tie this heavily and perfectly with the CAPTAIN AMERICA trilogy, bringing back some much needed familiar faces, and executing literally the best action we’ve seen in a Marvel Studios production since ENDGAME, courtesy of this episode’s writer, Derek Kolstadt – creator of JOHN WICK.

The episode raises the action bar in terms of what we’ve seen on the series so far, with kinetic brutal battles completely reminiscent of WINTER SOLDIER. But it also furthers the mythology deeper, smartly never losing focus on where all of these characters have been and what they’ve taken with them based on their experiences throughout this franchise. The performances in this are top notch all around, with one performance in particular that will leave audiences “Longing, rusted, seventeen, daybreak, furnace, nine, benign, homecoming, one, freight car.”

I’m dying to see what comes next! And I guarantee you will too after this one!
