SEASPIRACY is a most compelling and intriguing documentary directed and narrated by Ali Tabrizi. He takes us on an amazing trip around the world popping every concept of the fish industry to be false.

The film begins discussing how we are using the oceans as a dumping ground for our abundance of plastics. This is killing the fish and in turn effects our health since humans eat the fish.

From there we are whisked away to fishing sites across the globe. We learn about the nonsense of dolphin free tuna and nearing extinction of blue tail tuna. We are forced to look at the plight of our majestic whales being slaughtered needlessly, sharks killed for the price of their fins and a fishing industry that uses slave labor to keep their businesses profitable.

SEASPIRACY is mind blowing. It shows what is going on and leaves its viewers depressed and woke. “By the year 2050 there will not be any more fish in the oceans.” When this happens, our earth will cease to exist as we know it. Scientists say we need the fish to maintain our oceans. Fisherman say “Fish are the caretakers of our ocean world.”

SEASPIRACY is important for everyone to witness even though the film just touches upon so many areas of discovery as it “followed the money.” Our planet is depending on us.

SEASPIRACY is available to stream on Netflix.
