SHRINKING S1E6 IMPOSTER SYNDROME 🤩

SHRINKING no longer has “imposter syndrome” when it comes to being one of the, if not the best, TV series of 2023. E6 has all the elements of a classic. We see the characters at their most vulnerable, and more notably, a few lead characters take actions that will alter the plot in the future.

The MVP in tonight’s episode has to be Harrison Ford’s character, Paul. Despite not learning what “raw dogging” means, he learns several lessons in a classic situational setting, a big party. The event allows every character to be in the same location with different story arcs. And each arc is strong enough to be the center of its own TV series.

Yet, the emotional connective tissue is that everyone lives in the past, allowing their “asshole” brains to hurt people via internal flashbacks. As each character grows and stumbles in unique ways, seeing SHRINKING lean into the comedic elements within the raw emotions is a delight.

I encourage audiences to “stay vulnerable” and “find a way to connect” with the best TV series (outside of THE LAST OF US) in 2023.

It’s available on Apple TV+.
