After the jaw-dropping UNMORTRICKEN, RICK AND MORTY returns to normalcy with a clip show in the form of a cosmic beam. While the plot mechanism to create the clip show is clever, there isn’t much here except for some fun action sequences and minor chuckles.

- “So, by your logic, 9/11 was an adventure? Tweet it, see who agrees.”
It was a given that RICK AND MORTY can only do some episodes with big reveals. As long as there’s enough action and humor, I’m okay with a sub-par episode… but please keep the president cameos to a minimum.
