REBOOT was all about trade-offs this week. It is humorous watching the dynamic father/daughter duo, Hannah (Rachael Bloom) and Gordon (Paul Reiser), get their way, regret their choices, and still come out smelling like roses while pushing their relationship closer and closer.
The writers’ room is the best part of the show. It is always a fast-paced smorgasbord of delightful one-liner bantering. You can’t help but chuckle, especially with words such as, “If I walk too fast, my uterus is going to fall out.” I also must give props to Reed (Keegan-Michael Key.) He is the “baller in the house,”, especially against the Yeshiva boys. I bet most of that scene was improvised. Who cares? Funny moments.
REBOOT is a quick breath of fresh air in a stuffy world of rules and regulations. Don’t expect any more, and you will be entertained. It is available to stream on HULU.
