PHYSICAL gave viewers a strange and hallucinating story to try to follow. It was powerful, detailed, and confusing as to what did actually happen and what was just another extension of Sheila’s (Rose Byrne) mind.
This week was a trip to the National Health Fitness Conference, with Sheila and her partners hawking their yummy, fat-free treats. It was a weekend of telling their customers what they wanted to hear. But at what cost to Rose’s mental capability? I guess the writers believe everyone takes a bath filled with those chocolate cookies. I am missing out. We are headed two steps backward and don’t get me started about all those girdles. After all, it is supposed to be 1983.
PHYSICAL is on a path of self-destruction, I fear, unless Rose can get it together. At this point, the spiral is only pointing down.
