OPERATION VARSITY BLUES: THE COLLEGE ADMISSIONS SCANDAL ๐Ÿ˜Š

OPERATION VARSITY BLUES: THE COLLEGE ADMISSIONS SCANDAL shares exactly what is necessary in order to believe the breakdown of our educational system.

The film used court documents and recorded tapes to recreate this honest behind the scenes portrayal of what some lengths very wealthy parents will do to assure their childโ€™s admittance into a prestigious Ivy League school. It is a slick, well produced film even with some slow moments during the endless phone conversations.

Matthew Modine was cast as Rick Singer, the mastermind, of creating a side door for hundreds of rich parents to enter. His foundation was widespread, complicated and included many staff members, athletic directors, admission officers and important coaches from across the country. The investigation began months before the take-down. FBI was listening round the clock to some very privy and jaw-dropping conversations.

OPERATION VARSITY BLUES opened my eyes to the inequities of our college admission system. It showed just how easy anyone can tap into this very lucrative scam if they had the connections and knew what they were doing. Rick Singer was this man. He is still waiting to be sentenced.

OPERATION VARSITY BLUES: The COLLEGE ADMISSION SCANDAL is available to stream on Netflix.
