The funny and heart are on full display in the second episode of MYTHIC QUEST via a GROUCHY GOAT. The far too serious ladder climber, Joan is tasked to create a mobile game with Rachel and Dana (now officially a couple). Why? Because “mobile games are not games, they are popular bullshit apps to distract people while they poop manipulating old people through microtransactions.”

The breakout star of the show continues to be Charlotte Nicdao playing Poppy. She’s a new boss in a man’s world and is asked to speak at a woman’s conference where she inspires…scratch that emotionally manipulates the audience. That’s the core theme this week – emotional manipulation. I love that the emotional manipulation mostly comes from the women taking power in the toxic male-driven video game industry.

If you’re not watching MYTHIC QUEST, pick up the controller and hit the start button. It’s a hilarious mash-up of IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY, THE OFFICE, and SILICON VALLEY. And it’s the only reason to subscribe to AppleTV+.
