Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K is one of the goofiest shows I’ve seen in a while. I had no idea what to expect going in but was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed watching it.
MODOK isn’t an incredibly well-known villain – he’s a little too bizarre to be featured in any modern MCU movies. He was ranked #100 in IGN’s Top 100 Comic Book Villains, and after watching this show, you’ll agree that that’s such an appropriate placement for him.

Armed with an excellent core voice cast (Patton Oswalt, Melissa Fumero, Ben Schwartz), an impressive slate of guest actors (Bill Hader, Jon Hamm, Whoopi Goldberg), and incredibly compelling stop-motion animation, the show is well polished and enjoyable all around. As for the story, although it does some meandering, it was still exciting enough to keep me hooked.
Think about it as if Doofenshmirtz (PHINEAS & FERB) had a MAD MEN/BOJACK HORSEMAN style story-arc, with a dash of Rick and Morty meta-jokes.

Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K is now available to stream on Hulu.
