JINGLE JANGLE suffers from a long runtime and a big bad that isn’t needed. It’s also a Christmas buffet of better movies that came before it, like THE GREATEST SHOWMAN, HUGO and A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
This is, however, an important milestone in Christmas movies. It is extremely rare to see a full Broadway style experience with a nearly all black and hispanic cast.
Oh, and Forest Whitaker can sing!
