FROM continues to be a show that has so much freaking potential, only to continue to fall from grace. I’ve complained every week about the absurdly slow pacing in this series. And it won’t come as a “revelation” to anyone that this week is more of the same. Slow, slow, slow, boring, tedious, and BOOM, the exciting climax hits.
My biggest highlights this week:
- THE BLAIR WITCH homage – Yeah, they pulled it off. And it was creepy AF.
- RING THE BELL – Finally, a helpful town meeting. No stupid extras commenting on things. Simply a plan of action to find a lead character.
- THE CLIFFHANGER – Tabitha. There are so many questions, keeping me hooked for one more episode to see how this season lands.
FROM reminds me of my love/hate relationship with FOR ALL MANKIND. A series with a ridiculous amount of potential that isn’t living up to the hype. Wait, maybe that’s what FROM needs – a crossover with NASA saving them from the evil that comes out at night. I’ll be right back – I now have a new show to pitch. 😉
