INVINCIBLE S4 REVIEW 🤩

Most shows lean on their reputation by season four. They double down on going for bigger and better, forgetting the story. Robert Kirkman doesn’t. INVINCIBLE S4 delivers the best story since season 1, drenched in buckets of blood. While shows like THE BOYS chased the gross-out and lost the plot. INVINCIBLE keeps both.

A few gripes:

  • E4 HUM: Kirkman’s passion project. A dumpster-fire hellish sidequest that goes nowhere.
  • E1–E3: Slow burn. Stick with it. The pieces will snap into place by E5.
  • Animation style is Basic-AF: Yeah, I know that people are complaining about the look of INVINCIBLE, and they have every right to be. For every awesome battle sequence, there are sections where the animation isn’t even animated, and the characters stand there hardly moving. Even worse, some of the male characters look almost identical (if you remove or add facial hair). It’s lazy and takes away from the superb voice acting and writing.

Final Thoughts: The emotional gut-wrenching INVINCIBLE soars to top form in a season that will easily be remembered as one of the best in the series.

It’s available on Prime Video.
