AND JUST LIKE THAT…gave fans a gift of closure and “expectation” for the future of this series. It was beautifully written for each character to have their moment of closing, yet not complete, their individual stories.
This episode also featured a long-anticipated guest appearance by Samantha (Kim Cattrall). Gosh, I have missed her. She was as stunning as ever. I wished the scene was longer and more emotionally revealing. It was a nice touch, but too little…too late. All I can say is, “Ta-Ta.”
The key to AND JUST LIKE THAT… has always been more than the men, the sex, the clothes, the drinks, the brunches, and the decadent “La tee da” attitude. It is the friendship between all the women. Their connection has always been visceral. These strong women are linked to each other forever without limitations. They are continually growing and changing and raising the bar for women everywhere. I believe all of them are in “transition” for the rest of their character’s lives. This is a good thing. An inspiration.
AND JUST LIKE THAT…ended in a beautiful location. This is not the norm for most. It shared a finger-snapping timeline. Five months…five years. It is all relative to nothing in my lifestyle, but I will raise a cosmopolitan toast for “whatever tomorrow brings.” It is available to stream on Max.
