ABBOTT ELEMENTARY S2E20 EDUCATOR OR THE YEAR 🤩

Janine (Quinta Brunson) is not alone. Every teacher has had that devastating moment that brought us to tears and self-doubt. Thank goodness for all the Barbara’s (Sheryl Lee Ralph) in the world. I had one too, who helped me “Pick myself off…Dust myself off….” ABBOTT ELEMENTARY tells it like it is with truth, honesty, grace, and class, because “some issues are just too big to solve in one year.”

Awards in the teaching profession are really meaningless. Hundreds of thousands of teachers do their special thing every day to make a difference in this crazy world. It is impossible to “control when you receive an acknowledgment.” Don’t fret, Greggory (Tyler Janes Williams). Just know it is an “honor to do your best every day.” I am standing up on my feet for the brilliant writers who, through a simple story, cut through to the heart and souls of teachers everywhere.

ABBOTT ELEMENTARY is must-see TV. The entire ensemble reflects who teachers are with humorous and dramatic moments. They are not hesitant to allow the public to see and understand the many complicated layers of being a teacher. Kudos…just Kudos.

ABBOTT ELEMENTARY is available to stream on ABC.
