This past weekend I was fortunate to catch TREVOR NOAH live on stage at the Santa Barbara Bowl. Fabulous, funny, creative, insightful would be just a few of the adjectives necessary to describe the experience. His schtick was exactly what fans see on a Netflix comedy specials, but it is also so much more when Noah spews his well-rehearsed monologue right in front of you. It makes you appreciate his artistry, his superb timing, and his brilliant ability to create characters through just the use of his pitch, tone, inflection and facial expressions. He is simply brilliant.Â
This is all I wanted to say. I don’t want to give away any spoilers about his fantastic material. I just wanted to express my awe and total enjoyment. Money well spent to have this memory included in my memory box especially since I was able to share it with my son and his wife. If TREVOR NOAH ever comes to your city on your, don’t hesitate. Don’t think twice. Buy those tickets. You won’t regret it.
