In my first review of this season, I mentioned that I trust the process – and we’re deep inside the process right now. With just one more episode to bring us home, it’s clear how much thought has been put into this season. Not only does there need to be a cohesive story, but eagle-eyed TikTok creators and fox-eared Reddit commenters shouldn’t be able to predict the outcome of this Sicilian murder mystery.
If THE WHITE LOTUS unveils itself like unwrapping a present, ABDUCTIONS is slowly and carefully taking off the tape so as to not ruin the wrapping paper. I bet the next episode will have someone metaphorically yelling, “tear it off, already!” No character seems safe, and theories are flying; it’s impressive that there doesn’t seem to be a clear path yet.
