THE RELUCTANT TRAVELER WITH EUGENE LEVY took viewers to a tiny island off the coast of Germany. Zolt is known as the Hamptons of Germany and showcases rich, luxurious homes, along with a very strict Wellness Center called the Lancerhoff.
For several days Eugene was placed on a broth, beetroot, and hard, stale bread fasting diet. He didn’t want to be a “stick in the mud” so he went along with all the procedures offered to him. This episode showed that people will spend a great deal of money to feel good. This “new Germany” allowed many lessons to be reinforced and learned.
THE RELUCTANT TRAVELER put everything into perspective for Eugene and me. Be grateful to wake up every day and not be a mere “36” anymore. Awesome advice. Eugene is hilarious and sarcastic every step of the way even when guiding 600 sheep down the main road. He would make a great traveling partner. It is streaming on Apple TV+.
