THE MIRACLE CLUB is a kick to watch Maggie Smith, Kathy Bates, Laura Linney, and Agnes O’Casey perform together in beautiful Ireland. It is a predictable, sweet, story that questions faith, grief, and forgiveness.
The plot is seeped within the tradition of the powerful baths at Lourdes. Life’s situations can be tricky and filled with desperate moments. It was the brilliant acting talent of these four women that made the film rich with inspiration and hope. It was a master class. The breaths and silence spoke volumes. It was simply entertaining to be in their “presence.”
THE MIRACLE CLUB was a delightful journey through the Irish countryside with strong, women role models. It will make viewers smile on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It is available on Netflix.
