THE GOOD FIGHT took us back into the courtroom again with two different cases featuring Diane (Christine Baranski) and Liz (Audra McDonald). Yay… I missed them arguing and battling with their words and wit.

Carmen (Charmaine Bingwa) has gotten into a pickle of a situation trying to defend her mobster clients. However, I always root for Charles (Wallace Shawn). He cracks me up with his gentle acting demeanor, and who doesn’t love radio comedy?

THE GOOD FIGHT is trying to show viewers how deadly “doom scrolling” can be for our sanity and peace of mind. “Focus on the good things in life, not the things you can’t control.” And remember, “with more drinking comes clarity.” At least for Diane.

The acting, writing, and pacing are always geared to perfection in this series. There is a definitive ending in sight, to be sure, since this is the final season. The issues are current, blunt, and turning violent. Nevertheless, I am intrigued and will continue THE GOOD FIGHT til the bitter end. It is available to stream on PARAMOUNT+.
