THE GOOD FIGHT brought back an old favorite from THE GOOD WIFE with Eli Gold (Alan Cumming). He is like a breath of fresh air, especially in the opening elevator scene. Let the cuss words fly!
Battle lines were redrawn as Liz (Audra McDonald) found her backbone again. Watching her pit against the new partner, Ri’Chard (Andre Braugher) is great fun. Never offer her store-bought cookies. Meanwhile, Diane (Christine Baranski) is literally floating while totally intrigued with a sunflower and looking at life from a different perspective. I think, “she’s gonna make it after all.”
THE GOOD FIGHT is setting the viewers up with fake grenades and tear gas explosives. I think the mob mentality might win in the end.
