THE GILDED AGE S3E1 WHO IS IN CHARGE HERE? 😊

I am so happy THE GILDED AGE is back for another season. The wealthy splendor of early 20th-century New York does not disappoint. The clothes, the locations, the stunning, majestic homes, the characters, and the constant bickering pull me deep within. It’s like watching a juicy soap opera from another era. Things rarely change when it comes to people’s lives and their social status.

Cynthia Nixon, Christine Baranski, Louisa Jacobson, and Carrie Coon are marvelous pillars of acting abilities. The four ladies anchor audiences within each new cause or job. They can run rings around the men, but they choose their battles wisely. It is great fun to watch the comings and goings of life before women fought for the right to vote. The writers are creating another season that deals with major issues such as temperance, railroads, and racial equality. The idle rich have many opinions about everything in America.

THE GILDED AGE was not really so shiny and perfect after all. This new season will showcase all things great, sordid, and small.

It is deliciously delightful and streaming on MAX.
